A NOTE FROM THE OWNER

Hello, my name is Sandra Close and I would like to welcome you to Jordan Alexander's. I have had the privilege of serving our community for the last 17 years. We celebrated our 18th year anniversary this December!
I would like to take a moment to tell you about our school.
I moved to the Denver area in 1992 and needed care for my young children. I was dismayed by the choices available to my family. At that time, all of the existing schools were very old and very small. It occurred to me that there had to be many, many families that needed care and wanted a different option. The phrase, "build it and they will come" took on new meaning for me!
After several years of looking for the perfect location, planning and building, Jordan Alexander's opened its doors on December 4th, 1995. The school was named after my children, Anna Jordan and Nicholas Alexander.
The ensuing years have been a learning experience and a labor of love for me. We are dedicated to making your school experience a personal one. We celebrate the individual child's needs, while caring for them in a safe, licensed environment.
That being said, I want to tell you that our building has a distinct family-like atmosphere. I know each of our children and have strived to provide the care that I wanted to find for my own children. While our children are taught many wonderful things, including reading and writing, it is their emotional success that is most important. A happy, loved, secure child will be unafraid to try any activity whether they succeed or fail in that attempt. It is this belief that sets us apart from other schools.
